Deputy Chief Minister Highlights Role of Local Industry in Boosting Economy

Jammu, Jan 16: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary emphasized the critical role of the local industrial sector in generating employment and boosting regional economic growth during his visit to the Jammu & Kashmir Industries (JKI) showroom at Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu, today.

“The local industrial sector plays a pivotal role in ensuring the economic upliftment of a region. The present government is committed to supporting its growth through various interventions and industry-friendly schemes,” Choudhary said while interacting with officials.

The Deputy Chief Minister’s visit underscored the government’s dedication to strengthening local industries. He stressed the importance of such initiatives in providing job opportunities and enhancing the state’s economic resilience.

Managing Director of JK Industries, Vikram Gupta, along with senior officials, accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister during the visit. They discussed strategies and interventions aimed at bolstering the industrial sector’s growth.
