DIG JKS Range conducted Late Night Surprise checking of the Border area of Kathua, Samba and Jammu
On the night of 26 Aug, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Jammu-Samba-Kathua range, Shiv Kumar, conducted a surprise inspection of border areas in Kathua, Samba, and Jammu districts. Accompanied by SSP Samba Vinay Kumar, the DIG interacted with local police officials, including SHOs and Border Police Post (BPP) officers. They also met with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at Border Outposts (BoP) like Chak Dulma and reviewed security arrangements, especially around the Narsingh Temple, due to the heavy influx of devotees.
