Director Tourism Jammu Vivekananda Rai concludes the KAAL BHAIRAV ASHTAMI programme

Director Tourism Jammu Sh Vivekanand Rai paid obeisance at shrine of Kaal Bhairav temple with Smt Sunaina Mehta joint director Tourism Jammu . He seek blessings of Lord Kaal Bhairav dev along with his wife and children and praised the Kaal Bhairav mandir committee to organise a huge week long festival which this year has started from 29th Nov and concludes on 6th Dec after Vishal Bhandara . He has ensure participation of Tourism dept from next year onwards and extended all the possible support to temple for the easeness of pilgrims . Joint director Sunaina mehta also seek blessings of Kaal Bhairav and applauded role of mandir Sevadaars to manage and organise ise this wonderful programme . She said we all are on toe to boost tourism potential of Jammu region and to promote our ancient shrines and forsure we will cover this temple under some tourism project to attract more tourist visited this holy shrine of Kaal Bhairav dev . Social Activist Chandan Datta apprise Director tourism that this is the only temple of Kal Bhairav in whole J&K UT where different form of Bhairav poojan is a part of its ritual ceremony of temple . Also on Kaal Bhairav ashtami there is a annual congregation of 52 different biradaris takes place in which devotees came from outside state like neighbouring Punjab and himachal yo seek blessings of kaal bhairav dev . Mahant Rumil sharma apprise them that Kaal Bhairav is a main deity and kukdevta of all the kukdevta and 5th incarnation of Lord Shiva .
