DISTRIBUTION CUM FITMENT CAMP FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (CWSN) HELD IN MS BUDHWANI, SAMBA
The department of school Education, in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) based in Kanpur, under the aegis of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA organised a Distribution cum Fitment camp for children with Special needs (CWSN) in MS Budhwani Boys Samba today on 10.08.2023.
The camp was organised to empower 82 already identified recommended CWSN needs studying in Govt Schools in Samba District.
The camp was inagurated by Worthy Chief Education Officer,Samba Sh Kewal Krishan who emphasized for facilitating such children at all levels and also encouraged their parents for taking special care of such special children. He also said that administration is committed towards welfare and upliftment of specially abled students and is doing a lot for this community and lot many things need to be done.
The program was also attended by Sh Vijay Singh Co-ordinator IE in Proect Director Office of SAMGRA SHIKSHA . he also informed the prents and students about all the facilities being provided by SAMAGRA SHIKSHA and centrally sponsored schemes of Govt of India. ZEO Samba Dr Bhavna Abrol who is the incharge of this whole program, PRI Members, District Co-ordinator IE, IE team from SAMAGRA SHIKSHA CEO Office, Special Educators and Technical Experts from ALIMCO Kanpur were also present.
During the course of camp 82 CWSN students were provided with AIDS and Appliances vis a vis Wheel Chairs, Tricycle, MSIED Kit, Cerebral Palsy Chair, hearing Aids and smart cane etc.
