Dr. Farooq Abdullah Addresses National Conference SC Cell Conference in Jammu

Jammu, January 22: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, addressed a one-day conference organized by the party’s SC Cell at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu. The event, led by SC Cell Chairman Shri Vijay Lochan, brought together party leaders and workers to discuss the vision and mission of the National Conference in fostering unity and inclusive development across the Union Territory.

In his address, Dr. Abdullah emphasized the party’s commitment to bridging societal divisions and ensuring that the fruits of development reach every household, transcending barriers of caste, creed, religion, region, or political affiliation.

“The National Conference has always stood for secularism, inclusivity, and social justice,” Dr. Abdullah said. “We believe in empowering all sections of society and working towards equitable development for every individual, especially the marginalized communities.”

The party president also lauded the efforts of the SC Cell in advocating for the rights and welfare of Scheduled Caste communities. He urged party workers to strengthen grassroots connections and spread awareness about the National Conference’s developmental initiatives and pro-people policies.

Shri Vijay Lochan, in his remarks, highlighted the challenges faced by SC communities and reiterated the SC Cell’s dedication to addressing their concerns. He called upon party workers to uphold the vision of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Abdullah, who laid the foundation for an egalitarian and inclusive Jammu and Kashmir.

The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from party members and prominent leaders, who pledged to work tirelessly for the betterment of all sections of society.
