Drug peddler arrested by Pulwama police: Contraband substance recovered
Pulwama, 17 October 2024: In continuation of its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama Police have arrested one drug peddler and recovered Contraband Substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Litter during patrolling apprehended one person namely Naseer Ahmad Mir S/o Gulam Muhammad Mir R/o chakoora and recovered 57 kgs of Cannabis derivative ( Ganja) from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 74/2024 under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Litter & investigation has been initiated.
General Public is requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society. We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per the law.
