DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED BY SAMBA POLICE WITH 1.600 KGs GANJA LIKE SUBSTANCE

Samba, June 17, 2025: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh and recovered 1.600 Kgs approximately ganja like substance from his possession.

Acting on an information received through reliable sources, a Police party of Police Station Ramgarh intercepted a person moving under suspicious circumstances near Swankha and recovered 1.600 Kgs approximately ganja like substance from his possession during frisking.

The drug peddler identified as Amarish Kumar S/o Shivnadan Singh R/o Piparpanti Koila Khagaria (Bihar) A/P Bari Brahmana has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized.

A case FIR No 42/2025 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started.
