Farooq Abdullah Announces Alliance with INC for J&K Elections
Srinagar, J&K – In a significant political development, veteran leader Farooq Abdullah has confirmed that his party will form an alliance with the Indian National Congress (INC) for the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The two parties have agreed on a seat-sharing formula, covering all 90 constituencies in the region.
Abdullah emphasized that the restoration of statehood is a top priority for the alliance. “We are confident that, following the elections, the process of restoring statehood will commence,” he stated during a press conference.
