Farooq Abdullah Dismisses India-Pakistan Talks Amid Terror Attacks: Asserts Kashmir Will Never Be Pakistan

Srinagar, October 21: In a strong statement, National Conference (NC) leader and former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah ruled out the possibility of India engaging in dialogue with Pakistan amidst ongoing terrorist attacks. He firmly asserted that “Kashmir will never ever become Pakistan.”

Speaking about the recent surge in violence, Abdullah condemned the attacks targeting civilians and professionals in the region. “It is a very painful tragedy. Several poor laborers who came here to earn a living and send money to their families, as well as doctors, were mercilessly attacked by these terrorists,” he said.

The NC leadership’s remarks reflect a hardline stance against Pakistan amid heightened tensions following these brutal incidents. Abdullah’s statement comes at a time when the region is witnessing an increased focus on security ahead of the Assembly elections.

The National Conference has maintained that terrorism poses a grave threat to peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir. Farooq Abdullah’s declaration signals that the party will prioritize local security and resist any efforts to derail progress in the region through violence.
