Fire Reduces Kuchha Kullah to Ashes in Village Bela Manohar Samba

Samba, June 13 — A devastating fire broke out late last night in Village Bela Manohar of Panchayat Baderi, District Samba, completely reducing a kuchha kullah (mud house) to ashes. The flames spread rapidly, destroying everything in their path and leaving the affected family homeless.

Thanks to the alertness and quick action of the parents, the children were safely rescued from the raging fire. However, the blaze consumed all household belongings, leaving the family in a state of shock and despair.

DDC Member Romesh Chander visited the site and expressed deep concern over the incident. He has appealed to the Deputy Commissioner, Samba, for immediate assistance to the affected family. He requested provision of essential relief items such as utensils, tents, and other basic necessities, along with compensation for the losses incurred.

Local authorities are assessing the damage, and further relief measures are expected to follow.
