Gandhi Global Family felicitates Dr Vyas Dev with Mahatma Gandhi National Service Award

Jammu: Gandhi Global Family on Friday visited Bone & Joint Hospital and felicitated the team of doctors of Orthopaedic Unit 3, Jammu.On this occasion, Director of Gandhi Global Family Jammu & Kashmir Padmashri Dr SP Verma along with Dinesh Gupta and Shri Shobha Ram visited Bone & Joint Hospital on Friday and felicitated the team of Unit 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons led by Dr Vyas Dev with Mahatma Gandhi National Service Award for rendering excellent services to the people of Jammu. Padma Shri Doctor SP Verma said that Gandhi Global Family NGO is working in 60 countries and is also a partner of the United Nations since 2016, he said that Doctor Vyas also works as a social worker during his job and along with Gandhi Global Family NGO, Doctor Vyas has also set up free medical camps in remote areas of Samba, Kathua and Jammu and whenever he gets time, he helps the poor people and by taking out his valuable time, he sets up free medical camps in remote hilly areas of Samba and examines the people and also provides them free medicines and the poor get benefit from the work he does.Not only this, Doctor Vyas does not even take fees from the poor patients and helps them as much as he can and he is walking on the path shown by Gandhiji and seeing his passion and honesty in his work, our award committee took this decision and today he was honored with the Mahatma Gandhi National Service Award and we want Doctor Vyas to continue working for such poor people. Dr Vyas Dev also thanked Gandhi Global Family and considered me worthy of this and honoured me with Mahatma Gandhi National Service Award. He assured the Director of Gandhi Global Family that he will continue doing such work and will always be ready to serve the poor people.
