GDC Vijaypur organises Panch Pran Pledge ceremony
SAMBA, AUGUST 07: As a part of the program series being organized under the banner of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’, ‘G20’ and ‘Shikshit Bharat’, the NSS unit (KHIDMAT) of Government Degree College Vijaypur on Monday organised Panch Pran Pledge taking ceremony to highlight the five resolves of Prime Minister of India during the independence Day, 2023 address to the nation.
The College Principal Dr. Vandana Gupta, teaching, non-teaching staff and students of the college participated in the pledge ceremony. The pledge was read out in English and Hindi.
The Principal of the College administered the oath to the students and staff of the college.
Speaking on the occasion the Principal emphasized that the objective of organizing the program was to improve the human kind which is the fabric of main culture. She further added that the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign has been launched in the country to honour our Martyred Braveheart men and women.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO) and Dr. Shittal Sharma (Convenor NSS) and Co-coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convenor Cultural Committee) and Prof. Anil Bhagat (HoD Commerce).
