GOC 15 Corps calls on DGP J&K: Focus was to ensure peace and order in the Kashmir Valley
Srinagar, Sept. 27: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt. General Shri Rajiv Ghai, AVSM, SM, met with the Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Shri R.R. Swain, at the Police Headquarters today. The meeting focused on maintaining the momentum of coordinated efforts to ensure peace and order in the Kashmir Valley.
During the discussion, both officials conducted a quick review of the prevailing security situation and the ongoing measures in place to safeguard the region. The meeting concluded with Lt. General Ghai bidding farewell to DGP Swain, who is set to retire on September 30, marking the end of his distinguished career in the service of J&K.
The collaboration between the army and police remains a crucial pillar in maintaining stability in the region, with a commitment to ensuring that their collective hard work continues seamlessly even after this leadership transition.
