Government Must Act Now to Tackle Jammu & Kashmir’s Unemployment Crisis: Vivek Bali

Bali stresses that unfilled government positions are worsening joblessness and urges authorities to prioritize filling vacancies to promote regional growth and stability.

Jammu, 14 November:- Prominent Political leader Vivek Bali has strongly urged the Union Territory (UT) government of Jammu and Kashmir and the central government to expedite the process of filling all vacant posts in the region. Bali highlighted the pressing need for immediate action, citing the alarming rise in unemployment across Jammu and Kashmir.

Vivek Bali expressed deep concern over the current employment situation in Jammu and Kashmir, where a shortage of job opportunities has led to a significant increase in the number of unemployed individuals. He emphasized that the numerous unfilled vacancies in various government departments have further exacerbated the situation, creating uncertainty and hardship for the local youth.

“The government must prioritize the filling of these posts to address the escalating unemployment crisis,” Bali stated. He believes that filling these positions would not only offer much-needed employment but also strengthen the administration’s ability to effectively serve the public. “This is an urgent issue that directly impacts the lives of thousands of young people in Jammu and Kashmir who are eager to contribute to society,” he added.

Vivek Bali stressed that leaving government positions vacant undermines the potential for improved governance and regional development. By failing to utilize this human capital, the administration risks hindering the growth of the Union Territory and creating further economic challenges. He encouraged the government to take swift action, noting that addressing unemployment would also foster social stability and economic progress across the region.

In his appeal, Vivek Bali called upon both the UT and central authorities to view this as a critical issue that not only affects individuals but has broader implications for the economic health of Jammu and Kashmir. Filling vacant posts, he argued, would bring hope to the youth and inject vitality into the region’s economy.
