Government of India decides to reopen cases of Kashmiri Hindu genocide from 1989-90 after 34 years.

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 07: In a historic move GOI decides to reopen cases of Kashmiri Hindu genocide from 1989-90 after 34 years. The first in the series is the case of Justice Neelkanth Ganjoo who was killed in 1989 by JKLF terrorists of Yasin Malik. Justice Ganjoo had sentenced JKLF terrorist Maqbool Butt. Maqbool Butt was hanged by India in response to killing of Indian Diplomat Ravindra Mahtre in UK.In order to unearth the larger criminal conspiracy behind murder of Retired Judge, Neelkanth Ganjoo three decades ago, the State Investigation Agency (SIA), through a communique, has appealed all persons familiar with facts or circumstances of this murder case to come forward and share any account of events which has direct or indirect bearing on the investigation of the instant case.The communique further adds that the identity of all such persons shall be kept completely hidden and protected besides all useful and relevant information shall be suitably rewarded.
