Government of Jammu and Kashmir Announces Beating Retreat Ceremony for Republic Day 2025

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued Circular No. 03-JK(GAD) of 2025, directing officials to attend the Beating Retreat Ceremony as part of the Republic Day celebrations. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2025, at 4:30 PM at the Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu.
Participation Mandate
The circular, signed by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, highlights the following directives:
- All officers and officials stationed in Jammu from various Government Departments are required to attend the ceremony.
- Heads of Departments and Chief Executives of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been instructed to ensure their own presence and that of their subordinate employees.
