In India, the Advanced Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) powered by Green Hydrogen has been introduced by Toyota Mirai.
A new vehicle has been introduced in India amid the inflation of petrol and diesel. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has introduced the Green Hydrogen-powered Advanced Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) Toyota Mirai.
Gadkari said that this is the first project of its kind in India which aims to create an environment for such vehicles in the country. He said that it is completely eco-friendly and has no emissions other than water.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor and International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) are running a pilot project of the hydrogen-powered FCEV Toyota Mirai to study and assess its performance on Indian roads and in all weather conditions.
