IRP-19TH BATTALION KATHUA ORGANIZED FAREWELL FUNCTION IN THE HONOUR OF RETIRING OFFICERS/OFFICIALS

KATHUA: On attaining superannuation, eight retiring officers/officials Sh. Ashok Kumar Sharma-DySP, SI Puran Singh, SI(T) Rajinder Singh, ASI Dharam Paul, ASI Hem Raj, HC Ashok Kumar, HC Raj Singh & HC Subash Singh were accorded warm send-off in an impressive farewell function organized at IRP-19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua.On arrival at Battalion Headquarters along with their relatives and friends, the superannuating officers/officials were warmly received by Incharge Commandant Shri Rajinder Singh Rahi-SP, Sh. Syed Majeed Mosavi-SP, Sh. Updesh Kumar- DySP, Sh. Daljit Singh-DySP & other officers/officials of the battalion and honoured them with flower garlands & mementos as a token of love and affection.Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Rajinder Singh Rahi lauded the services rendered by these officers/officials in the Police department. He told that similar functions have also been organized in other coys of this unit wherefrom six more officers/officials are retiring after attaining the age of their superannuation. He also highlighted the various achievements of the retiring police personnel who have also shown high sense of dedication in accomplishing the tasks assigned to them during their services in J&K Police & posting in this battalion. The other officers also spoke on the occasion and wished them all the best for their future life.Retiring officers/officials in their emotional speeches thanked their colleagues and the Police department for organizing farewell function and honouring them in view of their superannuation.
