This recent attack took place in the Khan Younis area of the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces carried out an aerial strike on Deif’s locations. Mohammed Deif had been on Israel’s most-wanted list since last year, with numerous attacks attributed to his leadership.
Casualties and Aftermath
The Gaza Ministry of Health reports that 289 people were injured in the Israeli assault. Many of the wounded and deceased have been taken to Nasser Hospital in the Khan Younis region. However, it remains unconfirmed whether the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched the attack from Muassi, a territory under Israeli control extending from northern Rafah to Khan Younis, home to thousands of Palestinian refugees.
