Jammu Divisional Commissioner and IGP Review Law and Order, Machail Mata Yatra Arrangements
Jammu, April 25, 2025: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, visited the district today to assess the law and order situation. The senior officials held a high-level meeting with representatives from the Police, Army, and Civil Administration to conduct a thorough review of security arrangements and ensure the maintenance of peace and safety across the district. Necessary directives were issued to strengthen security measures.
In addition, the Divisional Commissioner evaluated the ongoing preparations for the annual Shri Machail Mata Yatra. During the review, he inspected arrangements for essential facilities, including power, water supply, accommodation, transportation, and other amenities to ensure a seamless and safe pilgrimage experience for devotees.
The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order while ensuring robust arrangements for the upcoming religious event.
