Jammu & Kashmir Govt Terminated Three Employees Over Alleged Terror Links

Srinagar, Feb 15 – The Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, has terminated three government employees for their alleged involvement in terror-related activities. The dismissed individuals—police constable Firdous Ahmad Bhat, teacher Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, and forest department orderly Nisar Ahmad Khan—are currently lodged in jail in separate cases.
The action was taken under Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution, which empowers the government to dismiss employees without an inquiry in the interest of national security. Official sources confirmed that the decision was based on credible intelligence inputs and ongoing investigations.
This move is part of the administration’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and its sustained efforts to root out individuals within the government suspected of having links to terror outfits. In recent years, several government employees have been dismissed on similar charges as authorities continue their crackdown on elements posing a threat to national security.
Officials reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that no individual involved in activities against the state remains in service. The administration has been actively identifying and taking action against those accused of providing support to terror groups.
