J&K Government Constitutes Sub-Committee to Address Grievances on Reservation Rules
Jammu, December 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued a formal order constituting a Sub-Committee to address grievances raised by aspirants regarding reservation rules for various posts. The decision comes in response to concerns voiced by certain sections of society.
As per Government Order No. 2061-JK(GAD) of 2024, dated December 10, 2024, the Sub-Committee will include:
- Ms. Sakina Masood, Hon’ble Minister
- Mr. Javed Ahmed Rana, Hon’ble Minister
- Mr. Satish Sharma, Hon’ble Minister
The Sub-Committee is tasked with examining the grievances and consulting all stakeholders before submitting its report to the Council of Ministers. The committee will be serviced by the Social Welfare Department.
The move is seen as a significant step towards addressing concerns related to reservation rules and ensuring fair and transparent implementation of policies.
The order, signed by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Sanjeev Verma (IAS), has been circulated to key officials, including the Financial Commissioner (Revenue), Director General of Police, Principal Secretaries, and other relevant authorities.
This development emphasises the government’s commitment to resolving issues raised by aspirants and ensuring inclusivity in employment opportunities.
