J&K Government Suspends District Mineral Officer Kathua Over Conduct Inquiry
Kathua, December 4, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended Naveen Kumar, District Mineral Officer (DMO) of Kathua, pending an inquiry into his conduct.
According to the official order, during the suspension period, Kumar will remain attached to the Directorate of Geology and Mining. In the interim, Varinder Singh, DMO Jammu, has been assigned the additional charge of managing the routine operations of the Kathua office alongside his existing responsibilities.
