J&K LG Manoj Sinha Reviews Development Projects and Security Situation in Jammu Division

Jammu, November 18, 2024: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials from the Civil Administration, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of the Jammu Division.

The meeting aimed to review the progress of ongoing development projects and assess the security situation in the region. LG Sinha emphasized the need for seamless coordination among departments to ensure timely completion of development initiatives and maintain law and order across the division.

He also highlighted the government’s commitment to fast-tracking infrastructure projects, enhancing public services, and addressing challenges related to security in sensitive areas. Key topics included rural development, urban infrastructure, and the operational readiness of the administration to deal with emerging threats.

Speaking at the meeting, LG Sinha reiterated, “The safety and development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir remain our top priority. A proactive and coordinated approach is essential to achieve our goals.”

The LG instructed officials to maintain robust vigilance, ensure public safety, and actively engage with local communities to address their concerns effectively. The meeting reflects the administration’s continuous efforts to strengthen governance and foster regional development in Jammu and Kashmir.
