JKP ORGANIZES ANTI DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAMMES AT GMS SANGWAL & GHSS RAHYA IN VIJAYPUR
Samba, December 10: J&K Police has organized anti-drug awareness programmes, aiming to sensitize students about the dangers of drug abuse, at Govt Middle School Sangwal and Govt. Higher Secondary School Rahya in the jurisdiction of Vijaypur district Samba which were attended by students, lecturers, teachers and other members of the school management.
The programmes at Govt Middle School Sangwal and Govt. Higher Secondary School Rahya organized under Civic Action Programme (CAP) were presided over by SDPO Vijaypur accompanied by SHO Police Station Vijaypur in which a total of fifteen students had actively participated in the said drug awareness programmes. All the participating students of both the educational institutions were given school bags alongwith stationary items as a token of appreciation for their participation. Moreover, all the remaining students of the GMS Sangwal were also given stationary items.
The Principal of GHSS Rahya and the Headmaster of GMS Sangwal expressed their sincere gratitude to the Police Department for their generous contributions, which significantly enhanced the learning environment for the students. The efforts of J&K Police in promoting awareness about the negative impact of drug abuse were highly appreciated by the school management and attendees.
