Kathua Encounter: Three Jammu and Kashmir Police Personnel Martyred

Three Jammu and Kashmir Police Personnel Martyred in Encounter at Ambe Naal, RajbaghIn a fierce encounter with terrorists in the Ambe Naal area of Rajbagh, three brave personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police made the ultimate sacrifice.

The martyred officers have been identified as:1. SgCt. Tariq Ahmad, son of Kabir Hussain, resident of Reasi
2. SgCt. Jaswant Singh, son of Angrez Singh, resident of Londi, Hiranagar
3. SgCt. Balwinder Singh, son of Prem Singh, resident of Kanna Chak, Kathua
Their bravery and sacrifice will always be remembered.

Injuries: Sustained injuries on the right side of the belly and back of the hip due to a grenade blast. Current Status: Shifted to GMC Kathua for treatmentThe security forces continue their operation in the area to eliminate the remaining threats. Earlier SDPO Border Dheeraj Singh was also injured in the operation & shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment.
Moreover there are inputs of killing of two militants in this encounter but no confirmation yet from the authorities.
