KOMAL SINGH MANHAS RECEIVES BHARAT KE ANMOL NATIONAL AWARD FOR SECOND TIME

Komal Singh Manhas, Bureau Chief of News18 India Network 18 Broadcast Ltd Jammu, has been honoured with the prestigious “Bharat Ke Anmol” National Award for the second time. She received the award at the third edition of Bharat Ke Anmol, held at the Taj Deccan on National Women’s Day.
The event, dedicated to women, recognised unsung women achievers from diverse fields. Actress-politician Kusboo Sundar presented the awards, with dignitaries like Mr. Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Hon’ble Speaker, and Ms. Kalvakuntla Kavitha MLC, founder-chairperson of Jagruthi Foundation and Ms. Nerella Sharada, chairperson, Telangana State Women’s Commission.

Komal Singh Manhas had previously received the award at the 1st Session of Bharat Ke Anmol Rattan in Delhi in 2023, becoming the first woman journalist from Jammu and Kashmir to receive the ‘Bharat Ke Anmol’ Award. This recognition is a testament to her exceptional work in the field of journalism. What’s more, Komal was also awarded the prestigious J&K UT state Award this year on Republic Day. She’s known in her circle as an “encounter specialist journalist,” and her work has been recognized nationally.
