Large cache of arms and Ammo recovered in Kupwara’s Keran sector
Kupwara, Sep 11 A large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by a joint team of the Indian Army and J&K Police during a search in the Keran sector of Kupwara today. The operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs.An official told that a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered in Kupwara, while the recovered items include AK-47 rounds, hand grenades, RPG rounds, materials for Improvised Explosive Devices, and other war-like supplies. He said, this recovery comes at a crucial time, given the prevailing security situation and the importance of upcoming events in the region.He added, security forces have termed the seizure a substantial boost to their efforts in maintaining peace and preventing potential threats. Further investigations are underway.
