Launch of Water Supply Scheme and Causeway Construction in Samba by MLA Surjeet Singh Slathia

Samba, 14 November 2024 – Samba MLA Surjit Singh Salathia today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the remaining work of the water supply scheme at Sangwali and inaugurated the construction of causeway at village Chhann Matloni and Tapyal. These projects are aimed at improving water and traffic facilities in the area, which will provide great relief to the local people.

Speaking at the event, MLA Surjit Singh Salathia said, “BJP is committed to the overall development of the people. Our aim is that every citizen gets the benefit of basic amenities. This water supply scheme and construction of causeway is an important step in that direction.” He said that after the completion of these projects, the water supply and traffic system of the area will improve.

Local citizens expressed happiness

Residents of Sangwali and surrounding villages thanked MLA Salathia and appreciated his initiative. Villagers say that this water supply scheme will be helpful in reducing the water crisis in the area, while the construction of the causeway will reduce the difficulties in commuting during the rainy season.
