LG Manoj Sinha Attends ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ in Reasi, Pays Tribute to Martyrs
Call to Neutralize Terror Ecosystem
Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha participated in the ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ organized at Pouni, Reasi, and paid homage to the brave soldiers and police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The event was organized by Pujya Sant Shri Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj, who has been conducting the Mahayagya for many years to honor the sacrifices of India’s Jawans.
“The nation will forever remain indebted to brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for unity, integrity, peace, and progress. We are committed to building a modern and progressive Jammu and Kashmir that aligns with their dreams,” LG Sinha said.
Call to Neutralize Terror Ecosystem
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor vowed to dismantle the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged citizens from all sections of society to take collective responsibility in combating terrorism to ensure a secure future for the Union Territory. “Terror ecosystem will be completely neutralized, and terrorists will be wiped out from Jammu and Kashmir,” he asserted.
J&K’s Development Journey Under PM Modi
Highlighting Jammu and Kashmir’s remarkable progress over the past 50 months under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, LG Sinha spoke of significant strides in infrastructure development, industrial growth, and investment.
“We envisioned a prosperous J&K, and in the last four years, we have undertaken extensive reforms and implemented people-centric policies to achieve rapid and inclusive development. These efforts have empowered youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor also encouraged farmers and stakeholders in agriculture and allied sectors to utilize benefits under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program to enhance productivity and economic growth.
Unveiling of Bhagwan Narayan Idol
As part of the event, the Lieutenant Governor, along with Sant Shri Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj, unveiled the idol of Bhagwan Narayan, marking a significant spiritual and cultural milestone for the region.
Prominent attendees included Sh. Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Member of Legislative Assembly; Sh. Vishesh Paul Mahajan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi; senior officials from civil and police administrations; army veterans; families of martyrs; and citizens from diverse walks of life.
The event underscored the Union Territory’s commitment to honoring its martyrs and fostering a vision of peace, progress, and prosperity.
