LG Manoj Sinha Pays Tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on His Birth Anniversary
Srinagar, July 6: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, paid rich tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his Janm Jayanti, hailing him as an illustrious son of Maa Bharati and a visionary leader whose legacy continues to guide the nation.
In his message, LG Sinha remembered Dr. Mookerjee as a great educationist and patriot who laid down his life for a united and modern India. “His unparalleled contribution to nation-building and national integration continues to inspire generations,” he stated.
Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh and a strong advocate of India’s unity and integrity, is widely remembered for his sacrifice and efforts in ensuring Jammu and Kashmir’s complete integration with India.
Various programs and remembrance events will be held across the Union Territory to mark the day and honor the memory of one of India’s greatest nationalists.
