LG Sinha stressed the need for decisive action against terrorism, directing officials to ensure the complete dismantling of terrorist infrastructure and support networks.

“We should not even have remnants of terrorism in Jammu. Effective steps must be taken to eradicate terrorism and punish those aiding terror activities,” he asserted.

The Lieutenant Governor instructed police officials to take the strongest possible action against individuals or groups providing logistical and financial support to terrorists. He emphasized that any act aimed at creating fear in society should be treated as a terrorist action and dealt with under the law.

The meeting also discussed the roadmap for technology-driven policing, strengthening border security, and enhancing coordination between agencies. Key topics included area domination strategies, cyber patrolling, anti-narcotics operations, and capacity building of the police force.

“Every perpetrator and supporter of terrorism must pay the price. We must be prepared for both conventional and non-conventional threats while ensuring the safety of our citizens,” LG Sinha stated.

He also highlighted the importance of credible intelligence gathering and real-time information sharing to carry out precise counter-terror operations. The meeting concluded with a directive to bolster the legal framework against terror propaganda and enhance policing at the grassroots level for more effective law enforcement.
