Maharashtra Cyber Police File Case Against YouTuber Dhruv Rathee Over Fake Post
Mumbai: Maharashtra’s cyber police have filed a case against popular YouTuber Dhruv Rathee following a fake message posted on X (formerly Twitter) by a parody account, which mentioned Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s daughter.
The state cyber department reported that the account falsely claimed that Om Birla’s daughter had passed the UPSC exam without taking it. Rathee, visibly upset by the news, criticized a media house for involving him without verifying the facts. “Go use your eyes to see that this alleged post was made by some random parody Twitter account. I have nothing to do with this,” Rathee stated emphatically.
Dhruv Rathee, known for his biased stance against the establishment and often accused of using controversial topics to gain more views on his YouTube channel is living outside India & known for his luxurious life style.
