Mehbooba Mufti Criticizes BJP Over Article 370, Expresses Willingness to Support Congress
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has sharply criticized the BJP government, stating that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have clearly expressed their discontent through the Lok Sabha elections. She remarked that the abrogation of Article 370 has only complicated matters in the region. Mufti emphasized that whenever her party has allied with another, it was with a clear motive and agenda. She added that if the Congress is willing to align with their objectives, the PDP is open to supporting them.
