MeT Predicts Rain, Snow Till 30th November In J&K

SRINAGAR, NOV 27 – Meteorological department on Monday has predicted rain, snow till ending of this month in Jammu and Kashmir.An official from MeT said that from 27th-28th November, weather will remain generally cloudy with light rain/snow at isolated places.He said that from 29th-30th, weather will remain generally cloudy with light to moderate rain/snow at fairly widespread places with possibility of thunderstorm/lightning at few places.From 1st-6th December, weather will remain partly to generally cloudy, he added.Regarding the minimum temperatures, he said that signifiant improvement is observed over many stations of Kashmir Division due to cloudcover.In Konibal, he said the mercury settled at -2.0 degree celsius.In Srinagar, he said the mercury settled at 3.5 degree celsius.In Gulmarg, he said the mercury settled at -1.2 degree celsius.In Kupwara, he said the mercury settled settled at 1.8 degree celsius.In Qazigund, he said the mercury settled at 2.6 degree celsius.In Banihal, he said the mercury settled at 5.8 degree celsius.Shallow to moderate fog likely to continue till 28th November over many places of Kashmir division, he said.
