NCC RANK CEREMONY HELD AT MVIS

MV International School was abuzz with excitement and pride as it hosted a remarkable NCC Rank Ceremony today. Lt. Col. Mandeep Singh Sekhon, 2IC, 4 J&K Bn NCC, Jammu was the guest of the event. The occasion was marked by a sense of honour, discipline and inspiration encapsulating the spirit of NCC. Outstanding cadets of the school’s NCC unit, namely – Cadet Sidarth Raina, Senior Division NCC from class 11th; Cadet Naman Mangotra, Junior Division NCC from class 9th and Cadet Saanvi Slathia, Junior Wing NCC from class 9th were adorned with well-deserved ranks, presence of all NCC cadets (boys & girls) of the school from Senior Division, Junior Division and Junior Wing. The event not only acknowledged the achievements of these young cadets but also instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards their nation and community. Earlier during the guest lecture, Lt. Col. Mandeep Singh Sekhon, shared his experiences as NCC Officer and shared the host of facilities that a cadet gets during his studentship in school and college. He apprised the students about career opportunities in armed forces and privileges that an NCC cadet enjoys over the non NCC cadets. He encouraged the cadets to aspire to serve the nation with pride and uphold the ideals of discipline and integrity. Director of school Mr. Gourav Abrol, expressed satisfaction on the conduct of NCC in the school, he appreciated the CTOs Mr. Sohan Lal, Mrs. Sonia Sharma & Mr. Liaquat Ali for their efforts in running NCC in school. Mr. Kundan Lal Dogra presented the vote of thanks and the NCC cadets presented a well coordinated NCC song.
