NIA arrested 8 ISIS terrorists: Foiled IED blast plot
In the ISIS network case, anti-terror agency NIA (National Investigation Agency) raided 19 locations in 4 states on Monday morning. The 19 locations include 11 in Karnataka, 4 in Jharkhand, 3 in Maharashtra and one in Delhi.
NIA team has arrested 8 ISIS terrorists from different locations. NIA has also foiled the IED blast conspiracy at one place.
Last week, NIA had raided 43 locations in Maharashtra and arrested 15 people. One of the arrested accused was the leader of the ISIS module. He used to recruit new people in this module. His name is being told as Saqib Nachan.
During raids at 19 locations in 4 states, the NIA team recovered a large amount of cash, weapons, sharp tools, sensitive documents and many digital devices.
