NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL SLAPPED PSA BY POLICE
Samba, August 24: In order to curb the criminal activities in the Samba district, Police has detained and lodged in jail notorious criminal under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).The accused identified as Sourav Slathia S/o Ghar Singh R/o Garh Mandi, Gurha Slathia tehsil Vijaypur district Samba, posing a serious threat to public peace and tranquility.Following his repeated engagement in criminal activities, detention order was issued by the District Magistrate Samba based on detailed dossiers prepared by SSP Samba. Police team of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO PS Vijaypur successfully executed the warrant, leading to the incarceration of the said accused in District Jail Kathua.This successful operation shows the commitment of Samba Police towards ensuring safety of the public and its resolve to counter criminal activities.
