Parents protested against deteriorating condition of the school building: Locked the premises

Jammu and Kashmir: In a shocking event, parents of students locked a government high school in Panchayat Rassain under Ghordi block in Udhampur district, to protest against the deteriorating condition of the school building. They were angry as the building was not safe for their wards & it may collapse leading to any mishappening.

On enquiry the zonal Education and Planning officer, Ghordi, Krishan Dutt said,”128 students are studying in this school. The building is unsafe. We will identify a safe place/building to conduct their classes and ensure that their studies are not affected.”
