Person went missing into the under-construction bridge pit in Gadhi Garh: Search operation continued

A person is missing after falling into a pit dug for an under-construction bridge in Gadhi Garh area of ​​Jammu and no trace of him has been found so far. According to locals, a man named Kaushal Sharma fell into the pit of this under-construction bridge at around 8:00 pm last night and went missing after that. A search operation was launched by SDRF, NDRF and police teams but he could not be found. This operation continued today as well and a large number of people were present there. People are angry that the contractor of this construction work has been negligent in regarding this and no sign boards have been installed there to prevent anyone from going near this pit. Today, with the help of JCB machines, efforts were made to fetch out the water from the pit, which continued continuously and a lot of water has been drained out but till now no trace of the person has been found. People are requesting the administration that this contractor and his company should be given the harshest punishment for their negligence.
