POLICE NABBED 2 NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLERS WITH HEROIN LIKE SUBSTANCE
Samba, October 21: Police has arrested two notorious drug peddlers with approximately 4 grams of heroin like substance in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur.
A Police Party of Police Station Vijaypur led by *SHO Police Station Vijaypur Insp Zaheer Mushtaq* during special vehicle checking naka near Railway Fatak Vijaypur, intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK21-2219 for its checking.
During checking, approximately 4 grams of heroin like substance has been recovered from the possession of accused identified as Yogeshwar Singh @ Jebu S/o Yash Paul Singh R/o Mandi Udh Gurha Slathia, Vijaypyur and Nitish Singh S/o Ranbir Singh R/o Mandi Andrar Gurha Slathia, Vijaypyur.
Both the said accused persons have been arrested and the contraband item has also been seized.A case FIR No. 138/2024 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
It is pertinent to mention that accused are notorious drug smugglers and involved in multiple cases of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Vijaypur.
