POLICE ORGANIZED GRAND DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAMME AT BALORE, SAMBA

Students Of Six Schools Participated ; SSP Samba Benam Tosh Presented Handsome Cash Rewards & Certificates To Best Speakers

Samba, Dec 12 : Police today organised grand drug awareness programme under CAP at Govt. High School Balore, Samba where hundreds of students of six schools, parents, teachers, PRIs, prominent citizens and police officers witnessed the interesting symposium.

SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, DySP DAR Samba Surinder Mohan, DySP Hqrs Samba Bhishm Dubey, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh and Chowki Officer Supwal Deepika Jalotra presented certificates and cash rewards of rupees 10000.00, 7000.00 and 4000.00 to the first, second and third best student speakers namely Mahi Kumari, Naresh Singh and Shweta Sharma respectively, whereas five other student speakers namely Sunaina, Nitika Devi, Bavna Devi, Chandani Devi and Mansi Devi  were also felicitated with certificates & cash rewards of rupees 2000.00 each. 

A large number of students of Govt. High School Balore, Govt. Middle School Vardan, Govt. Middle School Mananu, Govt. Middle School Daruie, Govt. Primary School Shah and New Model High School Shah participated in today’s anti-drug awareness programme. Sarpanch Sunil Choudhary and Headmaster Govt. High School Balore Gulam Qadir Malik thanked the police for organizing impressive anti-drug awareness programmes at Shah Balore to generate awareness among students and public against drug abuse. Additional SP Samba and Chowki Officer Supwal Deepika Jalotra also spoke on the occasion and asked youth to stay away from narcotic substances. 

On the occasion, Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh advised the students to build their unblemished character and ensure that no FIR is registered against them throughout life as FIRs spoil career of the dynamic candidates aspiring for government jobs and no clearance could be had from agencies for their appointment in any government service. Police would organize more seminars, symposium, debates, cultural competitions and sports events at different schools and colleges to eradicate drug abuse in Samba district, SSP Samba added. “Police officers of Samba district are making all out efforts to wipe-out heroin menace in their areas of responsibility and public is assisting them in their hectic efforts to make anti-heroin drive a visible success”, SSP Samba said.
