Police Organizes Bike Rally to Commemorate National Police Day 2024
Samba, October 18: In a heartfelt tribute to the brave officers and Jawans of the Police who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, the Samba Police organized a motorbike rally today. The event was led by Sh. Vinay Sharma,JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba and commenced from the District Police Headquarters.
The rally saw participation from various officers including the Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) Samba, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters Samba, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Vijaypur, DySP DAR Samba, and Station House Officers (SHO) from both Police Stations Samba and Vijaypur, along with other officers and officials of the Samba Police accompanied by large number of youth.
The procession made its way through the town of Samba, culminating back at the District Police Headquarters. This rally was organized not only to honor the sacrifices made by our brave police personnel but also to raise public awareness about National Police Day, which is observed annually on October 21. This day serves as a solemn reminder to pay tribute to the courageous police martyrs who have dedicated their lives to serving the nation.
The Samba Police will also hold a formal observance of National Police Day 2024 at the District Police Lines Samba, further emphasizing the commitment to honor those who have served with valor.
