POLICE SEIZES 6 VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING
Samba, August 25: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized six vehicles across the district Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ramgarh, Incharge Police Post Supwal under SHO PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura under SHO PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized four dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21H-8683, JK21K-2595, JK21H-6765, JK21D-0670 and two tractor trolleys bearing registration No. JK21E-2079 and other without registration No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
