Police solves theft case; arrest one accused person, recovers stolen bike with in 48hrs

Police Station Bishnah,Jammu has solved a theft case registered at Police Station Bishnah, arrested one accused person and recovered stolen bike from his possession.

On 18-September 2024, a report was lodged at Police Station Bishnah by one Surjan Singh S/O Shanker Dass R/O Chimbian Jattan Bishnah, regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK02BT-4058.

Police said acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 146/2024 has been registered at Police Station, Bishnah and investigation started to work out the theft case.

Keeping in view the senstivity of the case a special team was constituted by SHO PS Bishnah under the close supervision of SDPO R.S. Pura and SP Hqr, Jammu to work out the theft case.
Police team arrested one person, who upon sustained questioning confessed his involvement in the instant case, police said.
The arrested person has been identified as Varun Kumar S/O Yashpaul R/O Bhaga Morh, R.S.Pura, District Jammu.Further on his disclosure stolen bike has been recovered.

Further investigation into the case is going on.
