POLICE WORKED OUT THEFT CASE: 2 ACCUSED ARRESTED, STOLEN ITEM RECOVERED
Samba, July 08: Police has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station Purmandal, district Samba, arrested two accused persons and recovered stolen item from their possession.
A written complaint was lodged at Police Station Purmandal by one Vinod Singh S/o Jagdev Singh R/o Kah tehsil Ramkot district Kathua, regarding theft of one bundle of 63 mm HDPE Pipe from work site.
Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No. 10/2024 U/S 303 BNS got registered at Police Station Purmandal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a police team of PS Purmandal headed by SHO PS Purmandal arrested two accused person namely Mohd Shah S/o Munaif Abdul and Abu Zaffer S/o Musak Ali both R/o Myanmar A/P Bathindi district Jammu who upon sustained questioning confessed their involvement in the instant case. Further on their disclosure, stolen property i.e one bundle of 63 mm HDPE Pipe was recovered from their possession. An auto bearing registration No. JK02CX-9213 used in the commission of offence was also seized.
Further Investigation of the case is going on.
