“We strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack in New Orleans. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. May they find strength and solace as they heal from this tragedy.”
The attack, which occurred on New Year’s Day, involved Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an American citizen and former U.S. Army serviceman. Without this discovery, authorities acknowledged, the incident might have been initially considered an accident.
This tragedy has reignited discussions on global terrorism and the importance of vigilance. The international community, including India, has reiterated the need for united efforts to combat such threats and ensure the safety and security of citizens worldwide.
Further details on the ongoing investigation are awaited as officials in New Orleans continue to respond to this horrific incident.
