PROMPTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BUILDING THE NATION: Entrepreneur Mela was orgainsed at Bathinda Military Station

Bathinda: An Entrepreneur Mela was orgainsed at Bathinda Military Station under the aegis of Chetak Corps. The Mela was planned as a run up to the Diwali celebrations wherein the requirements of the families of the Station for Diwali was catered for. The Mela was opened by Mrs Neelu Rai, Zonal President AWWA, Chetak Corps to the families of the Station on 09 November 2023. In the two day event all Entrepreneurs of the Station showcased their skills by putting up stalls with their handmade items. All troops, families and children of the Station visited in large numbers and utilised this platform to buy their needs for Diwali from the stalls, take a break from their routine and spend time with their families. The conduct was appreciated by all and the event gave an opportunity for the budding Entrepreneurs to showcase their skills. It also acted as a platform to empower Army wives and encourage the younger generations to follow their footsteps to create startups for Nation Building in future.
