Rajouri Police Refutes Claims of Inaction, Confirms FIR in Assault Case
Rajouri, March 23, 2025: Rajouri Police has issued a clarification regarding a viral video in which a resident of Khawas is seen with injuries allegedly caused by a beating, claiming that no action has been taken by the authorities.
Refuting the allegations, the police stated that they had already taken cognizance of the matter, and a case (FIR No. 26/2025) under relevant legal sections has been registered at Police Station Budhal.
An investigation into the incident is actively underway, and authorities have assured that all necessary legal proceedings will follow based on the findings.
