Ram Katha will be taught in Uttarakhand’s madrasas. Shadab Shams, Chairman of the state Waqf Board, said “Who else deserves to be taught to children if not Shri Ram” “Shall we tell them story of Aurangzeb who imprisoned his own father & beheaded his own brothers?” He said students should become more like Lord Ram, who went into exile in the forest to honor his father’s word, rather than Aurangzeb.
